What is does?

If the line is straigth, then if you move the stick/controler 1 unit the drone will responde with 1 unit. But if you applye a curve, then you have to move the stick/controler a bit more to get the same movment ( and when you get to the end of the curve it moves super fast ) so now you can do small adjustmest with the drone.
